I would not recommend this hotel for that reason … I found the area around hotel noisy, busy and tacky. The hotel room was adequate for a short stay but overall the hotel decor and furnishings are tired and could certainly benefit from up grading. This may be the norm in this hotel and it did not matter during this trip. We did not get the room serviced during our 4 night stay. The general area outside the hotel in Fremont Street not suitable for children at all. As is th norm there are lmited eating facilities in the hotel. Don't expect to get to sleep much before 2am. As it was only round the corner from Fremont Street the hotel was very noisy especially at night. The hotel was also very busy with many checking in and out. The reception area was next to the slot machines so tended to be noisy. There was small plastic bowl to use for wet shavers. There was no plug in the sink which had clearly been adapted to save water. There was plenty of hot water and the shower spacious and easy to use. The linen was clean and the bed comfortable.
